The Susquehanna Animal Shelter is committed to bringing about a time when there are no more homeless animals and every companion animal will be guaranteed a loving home. They work to accomplish this goal through our spay/neuter, adoption and education programs. The SAS, located in Cooperstown, NY, also offers the Better Exchange Thrift Shop which generates almost 40% of the income for the operation of the shelter.
